REFLECTION ROOM APPEAL
To mark the 80th Anniversary of VE and VJ Day and the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain (in which the Polish pilots of 303 Squadron served with such distinction) we are launching an Appeal to raise funds for the completion of our REFLECTION ROOM. The room will be situated to the rear of our wonderful new Remembrance Garden.
We will pay tribute to those who gave their lives in conflict and also
to everyone who served and worked at RAF Ingham.
The Room would enable visitors to the Centre to sit and reflect
on the sacrifices of the Airmen and their families and to
remember their own loved ones.
If you are able, please make a donation through our Just Giving Page via the link on our website (reference ‘Reflection’) or at the Centre in our Collection Bucket. All Donations made this way will be put towards the creation of the REFLECTION ROOM.

REMEMBRANCE STONES
You can now honour the memory of your loved one with a bespoke Remembrance Stone in our established Remembrance Garden.
Plus a 6" x 4" photgraph of your commemorated individual in our new Reflection Room.
After establishing our Remembrance Garden and commencing the appeal to support our Reflection Room project in 2025, now in 2026 we are launching our Remembrance Stones initiative.
Remembrance Stones will be an important addition to our Remembrance Garden, marking a personal and long-lasting commemoration of any individual linked to our project. This includes those who served with 199 Squadron or any of the four Polish Bomber Squadrons, 300, 301, 304 and 305, as well as others who served or worked at RAF Ingham, whether lost during the war or since – military or civilian.
Stones will be laid around our Remembrance Garden. In addition, each Stone will also allow for the display of a 6”x4” photo of the commemorated individual, to be displayed within the Reflection Room, once completed.
Our trusted local supplier will produce the Remembrance Stones, with specific attention to the complications of the Polish alphabet. The stones are 18”x 9” (46cm x 23cm), made from Yorkshire Stone and Deep Cut to provide a lasting commemoration.
Each stone may be either three of four lines of carved letters.
You can also honour a single squadron
It is possible to accommodate up to 24 characters and or spaces per line

OGRÓD PAMIĘCI
Rozpoczęły się prace nad naszym nowym Ogrodem Pamięci przed Centrum. Maszt flagowy dla chorągwi RAF i PAF jest już na miejscu, a ścieżki są prawie gotowe.
Kolejnym etapem jest sadzenie róż, a następnie tworzenie i montaż tablic pamiątkowych.
PRZYBYCIE 'The Many’
W Marcu 2024 roku pojawiła się instalacja artystyczna "The Many".
Ta niesamowita rzeźba części nosowej Lancastera została stworzona przez Francuskiego artystę Suhaila Shaikha i została nam podarowana przez Muzeum "The Atkinson" w Southport.

Grupa wykonał świetną robotę, układając ‘Nissen Hut’ Polskich rodzin tak, aby odtworzyło wygląd z końca lat 40. Jeszcze kilka akcentów i stanie się domem.
RAF INGHAM W SKRÓCIE
Lotnisko RAF Ingham leży około 15 mil na północ od miasta Lincoln w Wielkiej Brytanii. Było ono lotniskiem trawiastym, używanym wyłącznie przez No1 Group, Bomber Command, Royal Air Force. Było aktywne wyłącznie podczas Drugiej Wojny Światowej. Lotnisko jest 15 mil na północ of miasta Lincoln w Anglii
Ci, którzy tam służyli, byli o krok od zostając zapomnianymi.
