“RAF Ingham Heritage Centre is a globally unique project to remember and celebrate the remarkable story of the Polish men and women of the Polish Air Force Bomber Squadrons, flying alongside the RAF during WW2.”
RAF Ingham Heritage Group, in 2023 our fantastic team of local volunteers based in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire, were awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK and is equivalent to an MBE.

NEW ROOF
The removal of the old roof that was falling in, has been undertaken.
New insulated metal clad sheeting installed
CAFE & TOILET BLOCKS
Work has continued to the cafe and toilets. The site now has water and electricity supplies which will allow us to offer these facilities soon...

RAF INGHAM AT A GLANCE
Royal Air Force Station Ingham was a grass airfield, used mainly by No1 Group, Bomber Command, Royal Air Force and only ever existed during the Second World War. The airfield and those who served from there had almost been forgotten in time...
The airfield lies some 15 miles due-north of the City of Lincoln, England.
